In recognition of the Corporate Volunteer Council (CVC) of Atlanta's 30th Anniversary, we are pleased to present a special symposium about the future of corporate community engagement.

Please join us on April 20th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for Reimagining Engagement: The Next 30 Years at Atlanta Metropolitan State College's Charles Easley Conference Pavilion. We will discuss the current state of corporate community relations and corporate social responsibility and consider components of a resilient business model for the future. Our program will feature:


  • Keynote Address by CB Bhattacharya, Center Director and H.J. Zoffer Chair, Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh and author of Small Actions, Big Difference: Leveraging Corporate Sustainability to Drive Business and Societal Value*
  • Two Educational Tracks:

Corporate Volunteering and Service - Planning to support corporate community engagement and nonprofit excellence into the future with Karen Beavor of Georgia Center for Nonprofits, Richard Hicks of Inspiredu, Allison Toller of YMCA of Metro Atlanta and Alice Turner of UPS

Corporate Philanthropy - What's Next for Philanthropy? with Deloitte and a regional philanthropy outlook with Stephen Sherman of Philanthropy Southeast, Nikita Trivedi of Georgia PowerMandy Burnette of WestRock and Yvonne Whitaker of NCR Corporation

  • Peer-to-Peer Learning and Networking with corporate and nonprofit leaders, community partners and elected officials.

$75 for CVC Nonprofit Member Partners

$125 for CVC Corporate Members

$125 for Non-member Nonprofit and Community Representatives

$175 for Non-member Corporate Individuals
