The Volunteer of the Year Award

Each year, the Corporate Volunteer Council of Atlanta recognizes outstanding volunteer leadership with the Volunteer of the Year Award, (formerly the Linda Woodworth Award).  Candidates are put forth by individual CVC of Atlanta board directors and must be a (non-board) member in good standing.

Congratulations to our 2025 winner:
Lauren Abbott!

Congratulations to Lauren Abbott of King & Spalding for being named the CVC’s Volunteer of the Year for 2025! Lauren has served as chair of the Carol D. Reiser Youth Service Awards for the past 3 years and has also led the CVC's finance and communications committees over the years. She is always willing to lend a hand and asks "How can I help?"

Thank you, Lauren, for being such an integral part of the CVC’s success!
