May is Mental Health Awareness Month, so what better way to show ourselves a little self-care than by focusing on personal professional development in a soothing environment!

The CVC surveyed its members in January 2023 to learn about the program preferences of our membership and to seek general feedback. Participants told us loud and clear that they would like more personal professional development as related to corporate citizenship. The CVC listened, and we have a great discussion coming your way!

Please join us in welcoming Whitney Marshall, former CVC president and founder of Whitney Marshall Consulting, LLC for a special workshop on May 24 at the Trees Atlanta Kendeda TreeHouse. Whitney will share about "Being vs. Doing: Living a Life of Intention," during this interactive session. Here's an overview:

We typically move through our days focused on being productive and checking things off our never-ending to-do list, but how intentional are we about prioritizing our actions? To increase the intention of our days, we must first understand what's truly important to us. Attendees will examine and identify their top personal values and audit how they currently spend their time.  They will leave with 2-3 clear steps they can take to better align how they spend their time with the values that are most important to them.

Whitney Deal Marshall is the founder of Whitney Marshall Coaching LLC, a coaching and consulting practice that is on a mission to cultivate and empower more genuine and generous leaders. As a Certified Professional Coach, Whitney challenges mid-career for-profit and nonprofit leaders to align their values with their actions in order to navigate professional challenges and transitions with resilience, strength, and authenticity.

This session will take place at the brand new Trees Atlanta Kendeda TreeHouse. Light fare and coffee will be provided. Please dress comfortably and casually if your day allows, and plan to join us for a tour of Trees Atlanta following the program. This modern facility is steeped in nature and beauty, and you'll immediately feel relaxed when you arrive. Please park in the Trees Atlanta parking lot at 825 Warner Street, SW or park along Warner Street.

This is a members-only program and is appropriate for corporate social impact and nonprofit professionals of all skill levels. Please feel free to invite colleagues, but just make sure they are registered.
