CVC Solutions Hours provide members an opportunity to learn about Metro Atlanta's most pressing challenges and innovative solutions. These hour-long programs are designed to offer members time to learn, grow and group problem solve.
Our first Solutions Hour of 2021 will feature Purposity , an Atlanta-grown, technology-driven nonprofit that is building out a next-generation model for community engagement. The organization equips users (now more than 40,000 strong in Georgia and 100,000 nationally) to directly support individuals in need through their mobile devices. Purposity offers a meaningful way for companies to deepen employee engagement, augment philanthropic giving, and expand support for nonprofit and school partners that is particularly well-suited to a socially-distanced world.
Join us to learn about employee engagement opportunities through Purposity. Hear from Purposity's Founder, Blake Canterbury, about a campaign that Purposity is leading with Atlanta schools, student-serving nonprofits, and Atlanta-based companies to rally community support for students struggling with poverty across Atlanta schools as we kickoff 2021. CVC member, Chris D'Andrea, will also share examples demonstrating how Georgia Power has partnered with Purposity for success.
We look forward to seeing you online! Please feel free to invite colleagues as this session is appropriate for both new and long-term community relations and corporate social responsibility practitioners.
