CVC members are doers. Supporting and caring for others is in our DNA. And over the years, we have learned that we are better together! Since 1992, CVC members have come together to share best practices and support each other in making more informed decisions about how companies and organizations can best support community.
As we proceed through these uncertain days where COVID-19 is affecting everyone, we know that many of your colleagues are looking for guidance about how to help. In response, the CVC will begin hosting a weekly "Solutions Hour" conference call each Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
CVC Solutions Hour - March 25 Edition, Featuring Karen Beavor
CVC member companies are concerned about addressing community needs created by the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the health and wellbeing of their employees and existing nonprofit partners. Our Wednesday, March 25 “CVC Solutions Hour” will feature Karen Beavor, President and CEO, Georgia Center for Nonprofits (GCN) who will share about GCN's COVID-19 planning guidance, resources, & program updates. Karen and the GCN team have been working tirelessly to connect nonprofits throughout the state so that no one is alone during these challenging times.
We will focus our conversations on identifying solutions for Metro Atlanta's most pressing needs. We will also allow space for sharing ideas, identifying service gaps and more.
