Natural and human-made disasters are part of our modern world, and planning for how to respond sometimes feels overwhelming. However, when we work together, we can make amazing things happen.
Join the CVC of Atlanta for a discussion about corporate disaster response at our Summer 2019 Quarterly Meeting on Wednesday, July 31 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Frazier & Deeter. Our program will feature an update by the newly formed Disaster Action Alliance (DAA) moderated by DAA founding member and visionary, Yunice Emir of The Coca-Cola Company. Panelists include Alice Turner with UPS, Timothy Downey with American Red Cross, Marcie Roth with Partnership for Inclusive Disaster Strategies, and Kaitlin Fitzgerald with Good360.
From choosing which aid organizations to support through philanthropy to donating product to lending professional expertise - companies can accomplish great things when working collaboratively. We look forward to a robust discussion about how Metro Atlanta community leadership can help prepare for challenging times ahead.
This program is appropriate for all CVC members and member partners with beginning to advanced professional experience. Please plan to participate in this critical discussion that will help make our region stronger, and bring your colleagues!
