CVC members are doers. Supporting and caring for others is in our DNA. Over the years, we have learned that we are better together! Since 1992, CVC members have come together to share best practices and support each other in making more informed decisions about how companies and organizations can best support community.
As we proceed through these uncertain days where COVID-19 is affecting everyone, many are looking for guidance about how to help and manage. In response, the CVC is hosting weekly "Solutions Hour" phone meeting each Wednesday.
We will focus our conversations on identifying solutions for Metro Atlanta's most pressing needs and helping corporate and community professionals weather our current situation. We will also allow space for sharing ideas, identifying service gaps and more.
Our May 20 program will feature Sue Stephenson, Co-Founder of IMPACT 2030 and Founder of Strategies for Service. Sue will lead a discussion about the future of virtual skills-based volunteering as companies work towards achieving the global sustainable development goals (SDGs).
This program is appropriate for all experience levels and for representatives of companies/organizations of all sizes. Please register if you plan to participate, and we'll send you Zoom information.
