Oct 30: CVC of Atlanta at the Atlanta Marathon

Join the CVC of Atlanta on Sunday, October 30th as we sponsor Mile 19 of the Atlanta Marathon (link to press release) in partnership with the Atlanta Track Club.  The CVC was selected as a partner charity for this exciting event, and we are eligible to receive $3,500 to $7,500 for supporting runners with refreshments, good cheer..and THE BUNNY HOP.  Yes, that’s right–we have a fun “tortoise and hare” theme for our mile and will provide bunny ears to all participants!

In order to be eligible for grant funds, we must have a minimum of 30 volunteers with us from 7:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on race day.  Please plan to join us and bring your friends and family.  Supervised children are welcome and encouraged.  We will have a special prize for the volunteer who brings the biggest group out to the course!

We will provide breakfast, coffee and snacks as well as bunny ears, noisemakers, CVC of Atlanta signs, and more.  Volunteers should dress comfortably in layers and may bring a chair or other comfort items as needed.  So “hop to it” and RSVP today (link to cheryl@cvcofatlanta.org).  You’ll help strengthen the CVC of Atlanta and your CVC relationships all while having a “hare raising” good time!
